Built was 1895 renovated 2025, by George A. Eldridge for Dr. J. Finley Bell, this three-story structure has witnessed over a century of East Hampton's evolution. When we acquired it for our offices, we discovered layers of history beneath decades of alterations—including local business owner, David Saskas, who had launched his company, Saskas Surveyors, from one of the second-floor rooms. Working closely with the East Hampton Historical Society, we restored the building to its original 1895 layout, honoring the original $4,000.00 investment Dr. Bell made over the course of only three months of construction. The project became less about renovation and more about stewardship: preserving the exterior integrity while bringing the interior back to a time when craftsmanship was not a luxury, but a standard. It seems fitting that a building originally designed as a home now houses our team—proof that the best work happens in spaces built with intention.
